“Sorry for the late response on the purchase of my truck in late March. I must tell you I had a pleasurable buying experience. I had been looking for two used trucks since the first of the year. I saw the 07 Ranger as I drove by. I knew I couldn’t afford such a late model truck, but as curious as I am, I decided to stop, look at the truck and see what else was on the lot. I was greeted by one of your friendly sales staff and offered to take it for a test drive, which I and a friend did. Upon returning to the lot, maybe 15 minutes later, I was not given any high sales pitch, any pressure or hype on how it may not be there tomorrow because others were looking at it and how I could afford it. I was asked what I thought about the truck and that was the end of it. I looked around the lot at others and left. I liked what I saw and the price was good for the year and make. I went and had a cup of coffee, talked it over with a friend and decided to go back and see what the best price I could get it for was. After talking to another gentleman in the office and explaining my situation, we came upon a mutual agreement on the price. Again, no pressure, just friendly conversation and the facts. There was even an agreement to hold the truck for a couple of days until I could get my wife down to sign the papers. In short, it had to be one of the most pleasant experiences in purchasing a vehicle. The sales personal was friendly, no pressure on the purchase of the vehicle I was looking at or redirection to another vehicle that they may be able to sell me. As I had mentioned earlier, I was looking for two trucks. Unfortunately, there was not another one on the lot at that time that meet my needs or I probably would have bought it. I did however stop back numerous times over the following next two months to see what might have come in that I was interested in.
